Dear Colleagues and Friends, It is our privilege and pleasure to welcome you to the 2nd International Congress of Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (International Congress of ADHD) which will be held through 28 th of February- 3rd of March, 2013, in Istanbul, hosted by, ADHD-EUROPE (www.adhdeurope.eu ), Istanbul Kultur University (www.iku.edu.tr ) and Attention Deficit Hiperactivity and Learning Disability Association (www.hiperaktivite.org.tr ). ADHD – Europe is a joint association of 30 contributing ADHD associations in Europe which was founded in 2009. Every two years , ADHD – Europe organizes the International Congress of ADHD. The first congress was organized in Rome, 2011. And the second is now being held in Istanbul by the The Turkish association, Attention Deficit Hiperactivity and Learning Disability Association This year the main theme of the congress is “Living with ADHD”, offering an exquisite scientific program with eight international and sixteen national speakers. The congress will open up with a pre-congress workshop on a structured training programme for the parents of ADHD children in the pre-school period, presented by Margaret Thompson and Caty Laver-Bradbury. We believe that this training will fulfill the gap in this field. On the last day of the congress, ADHD diagnosed adults will contribute with their experiences before and after treatment and their personal experiences regarding ADHD. A rich social programme is being prepared in order to represent the Turkish hospitality. Renowned journalist and author Sunay Akın will also be supporting us as an invited speaker. During the congress consequent translation in English and Turkish will be provided. We are hoping to see you in İstanbul.
